جنبش دانشجویــی ایران به راستی یکـی از پُــر آوازه تـرین و ســرنــوشت سـاز تـرین جنبـــش هـای دانشجویی در جهان است. نـه در برلـن ونه در پـاریس، نه در سئول ونـه در پکـن، در هیچ کجـا نمی تـوان یـک مشابه آن را یافت.

چنانچــه این جنبش با جنبش هـای دیگـر در آمیــزد و به روستاهــا و کارگــاهها سرایت کنـد، چنانچه اندیشه و کار دست اتحاد به هم رساننــد، بنیاد ساختارهای استبداد دینی را دستخوش لرزه ای مرگبار خواهند کرد.

آن روز که جنبش دانشجویی پُـر افتخار ایران با خیل عظیم بی کاران و رنجبـران شهر و روستا پیوند برادری زند، نظم مردمی، نظام ضـد مردمی اصول گرایـان و مهرورزان و اصـلاح طلبان و دلالان دین فروش را به سوق فرو پاشی خواهد کشاند.

نظم نوین مردمی را باید از پایه سامان داد و آن پایه جز خود مردم و نیاز های حیاتی آنان، جز کارگر و جز دهقان، جز رنجبران فکری و جسمی شهر و روستا نیست. در اثر مراوده و تبادل زندۀ اطلاعات با اینـان است که واحـه های نظـــام مردمی یکـی پس از دیگـری شبکه آسـا سراســر ایــران را خواهد پوشاند. حاکمیت مردم را با ید با بر پایی نظامات مقبول و سامان دادن به واقعیت های نوین اجتماعی بر تارک تاریک اند یشان و وا پس گرایان، به ضرب نیروی توانای نمونۀ بر تر، تحمیل کـرد.

آری، دموکراسی وارداتـی نیست! دموکـراسی، یعنی سـامـان دادن به کار مردم به دست مردم و برای مردم. و این، آن پرچمی است که شما دانشجویان باید بر د وش بکشید و به میان مردم ببرید!

برای شما عزیزان، که از زندان و شکنجـه نمی هـراسید و جانانــه و بی پـروا ایستـاده، از حق تعیین سرنوشت ملت ایران تا پای جان د فاع میکنید، آرزوی پیروزی دارم.

ايسنا؛ دبير شوراي نگهبان گفت؛ کساني که معتقد بودند بايد در مقابل اجراي طرح امنيت اجتماعي کار فرهنگي کرد جامعه را آزاد گذاشتند تا اين وضعيت فساد به وجود آمد. آيت الله جنتي در همايش رهپويان ياس در ورزشگاه پيروزي اصفهان با بيان اين که امريکا هيچ رقيبي را در دنيا به رقابت خود نمي شناسد، اظهار داشت؛ امريکا مي داند يک کشور در کره خاکي در مقابلش ايستاده که نه از تحريم ها و نه از تهديدها و اخم کردن هاي آن مي ترسد. وي افزود؛ کشورمان به رغم کارشکني هاي داخلي و ستون پنجم کشور و قطعنامه هاي تند و تيز خارجي مردانه ايستاده و اعلام مي دارد که حرف ما يکي است و ما خواستار آزادي هستيم و اينکه بتوانيم پيشرفت علمي داشته باشيم؛ زيرا بهترين استعدادها و امکانات را داريم و زير بار زور هم نمي رويم، همه دنيا مي بيند که هيچ کشوري اينطور در مقابل امريکا نمي ايستد حتي کشورهاي غربي آنقدر ضعيفند که با يک چشم غره اين کشور سر جاي خود مي نشينند. دبير شوراي نگهبان گفت؛ سهميه بندي بنزين بر اثر اسراف هايي بود که در اين خصوص انجام مي شد، چرا ما بايد مرتباً نفت را توليد و بعد صادر کنيم و سپس بنزين بخريم که هوا را آلوده کرده و سرمايه هايمان را به اين صورت هدر بدهيم.

وي افزود؛ امر به معروف و نهي از منکر مي گويد که اسراف نکنيد، همين که آب سهميه بندي شد که ان شاءالله چنين روزي نرسد معلوم مي شود چقدر در کشور ما آب اسراف مي شده، اما در واقع امر به معروف و نهي از منکر اعلام مي دارد که بايستي در آب، برق، گاز و مواد خوراکي صرفه جويي کرد تا اسراف نشود زيرا بسياري از فسادها و مشکلات جامعه ما از ناحيه همين اسراف هاست که بايد جلو آن گرفته شود و اميدوارم خدا به دولت کمک کند تا بتواند با فسادهاي گوناگون مبارزه کند

فارس؛ وزير کشور از افزايش سهميه بنزين مشاغل خاص خبر داد و گفت؛ برآوردهاي لازم براي تعيين و تامين بنزين مورد نياز مشاغل خاص در دست انجام است. مصطفي پور محمدي صبح ديروز در همايش اعضاي کميته استاني (ساماندهي مسافربرهاي شخصي) در پاسخ به پرسش خبرنگاران در خصوص اختصاص سهميه بنزين براي خبرنگاران گفت؛ در حال جمع آوري و دسته بندي بنزين مورد نياز همه مشاغل خاص هستيم . کميته هاي مربوطه در حال تصميم گيري در اين رابطه هستند.

وي با تاکيد بر اينکه با توجه به مدت زمان و ميزان سهميه تعيين شده ظرف يک تا دو ماه آينده زندگي هيچ کس مختل نمي شود و همه مي توانند به تناسب نياز خود از سهميه 600 ليتري خودرو خود استفاده کنند، بار ديگر تاکيد کرد؛ بر اساس برآوردها، سهميه مشاغل خاص را خواهيم افزود. مصرف بنزين بقيه افراد را نيز بايد نظمي بدهيم و براي بنزين مازاد مورد نياز آنان نيز بايد تصميم گيري کنيم که سوخت چگونه در اختيارشان قرار گيرد.

وزير کشور خاطرنشان کرد؛ دولت در حال محاسبه دقيق ميزان صرفه جويي بنزين و اجراي 2 تا 3 طرح مفيد و مورد توجه مردم احتمالاً در حوزه حمل و نقل و خدمات عمومي است. وي اظهارنظر درباره نوع طرح ها و ميزان صرفه جويي بنزين را به اتمام کار کارشناسي موکول کرد و افزود؛ ميزان صرفه جويي قابل توجه است. البته تعداد سفرها در اين ايام به خاطر کنکور کم بوده است و از هفته هاي آينده سفرهاي تابستاني مردم آغاز خواهد شد. در راستاي سهولت سفرهاي تابستاني مردم، دولت تصميم گرفت که مدت زمان مصرف بنزين را از 4 به 6 ماه افزايش دهد

MANAMA, BAHRAIN -- Leading members of Bahrain's royal family have thrown their weight behind hard-line Sunni Muslim groups, some of whom share the outlook of Al Qaeda, in an attempt to counter a perceived Shiite threat, government officials and critics say.

The strategy, first exposed in a government report that surfaced last year, has revealed a rift within the court of the ruling Khalifa family.

One faction believes in reconciliation with the Persian Gulf nation's disenfranchised Shiite Muslim majority. The other believes in suppressing Shiite aspirations, even if it means supporting Sunni groups propelled by the same ideologies that inspire Osama bin Laden.

A ranking government official who is a member of the royal family said there was "no doubt" that a hard-line movement existed within the Bahraini power structure.

"Then, there are the moderates who believe that cohesion is the way to go forward," he said.

The official, who counts himself among the moderates, spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue. Members of the royal family are unanimous in public, and analysts say they rarely discuss internal rifts.

But Bahrain , a small, oil-rich nation of 750,000 people where the U.S. Navy's 5th Fleet is based, is anything but united.

It rests uneasily on the increasingly volatile sectarian fault line rattling the Middle East . Impoverished Shiites, some of whom share close religious and cultural ties to Iran , demand more power from the dominant Sunnis, who have ties to Saudi Arabia . Intermarriage between the sects has become rare. Bahrain 's Shiites and Sunnis have different last names and speak Arabic with different accents.

Crown Prince Salman ibn Hamed Khalifa, a 37-year-old graduate of American University in Washington and Cambridge University in England , leads the moderates, who have focused on creating job opportunities for Bahrain 's young as a way of staving off sectarian tensions. Khalid ibn Ahmed Khalifa, minister of state for royal court affairs, is known as the leader of the hard-liners.

Few know where King Hamed ibn Isa Khalifa, the ultimate authority in Bahrain , stands.

"The royal court minister is backed by the Sunni extremists and he backs them," said one Bahraini analyst, who spoke on condition of anonymity. "It's a very dangerous game. They're going down a slippery road."

Even opposition figures say that the most extreme of their nation's Sunnis are moderate compared with Al Qaedainspired insurgents fighting governments in Iraq , Lebanon and Afghanistan . One Sunni hard-liner has said he welcomes the presence of American and British military officials in Bahrain if it keeps the Iranian influence at bay.

Yet secular and Shiite Bahrainis have become alarmed by the growth of Sunni fundamentalism.

Figures allied with the Muslim Brotherhood or more extreme groups have gained the upper hand over the ministries of information, finance and large parts of the military, government critics and human rights groups say. Banks owned by Muslim charities or organizations have grown rich with the return of Arab funds from the United States and Europe after the increased post-Sept. 11 scrutiny of Persian Gulf money in the West. Islamic charities have morphed into powerful political groups, with the government's encouragement, critics say.

Some likened the rapid buildup of Sunni groups to the U.S. and Saudi support for Islamist Afghan warriors during the 1980s Soviet occupation.

"This is the Saudi Frankenstein," said Ebrahim Sharif Alsayed, a member of the National Democratic Action Society, a secular opposition group. "I don't think terrorism is a serious threat. But this is the same play. They think they can manage the Islamists."
