October 26th, Is Iran's Shahyaad day

The birth of the legend was the rebirth of his nation
and a turning point in the history of the country.

(October 26, 1919, Tehran – July 27, 1980, Cairo)

October 26th, is the Birthday of
His Imperial Majesty Shahanshah Aryamehr of Iran.
The legendary king & a visionary leader,  mankind's worthy son,
the true patriot and the immortal hero of the Iranian nation.
A benevolent ruler who was much maligned and much misunderstood.

The departure of a very few leaders of the world had
such adverse effect on the well being of a nation as
the sad demise of His Late Majesty Shahanshah of Iran in 1979, had.
The Shah was a peace broker and a pillar of stability in the region
but the western governments did not appreciate or value his
great leadership in one of the worlds most strategic regions of the world.
...................................................................................

The Shah believed that most fundamental human rights of all Iranians were
that everyone in Iran should have right to good health and education.
The achievements of the Pahlavi regime are a testimony to this.
...................................................................................

As with the mountain, the true greatness of the Shah's reign
becomes more apparent as one sees it in its true prospective.

We Iranians lived under the Pahlavis for over 50 years and we did not know
what war was. Our country was peaceful, progressive and promising.
People were going to Iran from all over the world not leaving it,
all thanks to the leadership of our benevolent Pahlavi kings.
When in 1979, his misguided subjects were seeking his death he told David Frost that:
"Ingratitude is the prerogative of a nation".
 May God Bless His Soul
The King is greatly missed.
